Finding a better transportation solution

I worked with the state Department of Transportation to find alternatives to a roundabout on U.S. 2 at Day Mount Spokane Road. Because the highway traffic travels so quickly, many collisions occur. However, a roundabout and resulting concrete barrier would have caused even more problems, like reduced access to small businesses along that stretch. I’m pleased they agreed to re-engineer this intersection by posting flashing yellow lights and adding in a slight curve to slow down drivers and prevent accidents.

Trailer registration bill moving forwardRep. Holy speaking with a colleage on the House flool

My proposal to allow for lifetime registration of recreational trailers is moving forward. The House Transportation Committee passed the bill out last Monday. Listen to my interview on KXLY with Rick Rydell where we discuss this bill and other topics.

As always, feel free to contact my office with questions or suggestions. I’m here to serve you, and I consider it a great honor.
